Artist's Comments

I guess you'd pronounce that "sir-kwee"... Anyway, shrunk it so you can actually see the piece, and added a border, hope you like.

Coming Soon, evil dwarves and carnival freaks face the wrath of the God of the Sea! Staring Ewan McGregor and Julia Roberts, with Danny Devito as the King of the Dwarves.

"Don't go out there my love, the sea will destroy you!"
"I'll show the sea a thing or two about love"

"Noooooooo!"

Very moody. Nice colors.
I'd be tempted to play with this in photoshop CS with image/adjustments/shadow-highlights to see what happens. Doesn't mean I'd change anything, but I'd be very curious about possibly bringing more of what appears to be a storm on the right into the light.

I wonder... Here's what the original was:

I didn't really pull up any shadows though. shouldn't be hard to do. I'll give it a try and post something if it works for me. Thanks for your comments oak.

Having looked at the original, what you might do is layer this with the original in the background in photoshop and using about a 25% opacity, erase from the right side of the tent towards the right border to bring up a bit more of the storm, since it looks like a really powerful element. An alternative would be to layer this on top of the original and use the history brush with a 25% opacity to paint in some of the storm.
